PRP

Platelet-rich plasma: Does the cure for hair loss lie within our blood?

Platelet-rich plasma, or PRP, is derived from the bloodstream and has been used for years to treat musculoskeletal conditions, and more recently, skin conditions. Colloquially termed “vampire” treatments, PRP injected into the skin or used after microneedling (a technique that uses small needles to create microscopic skin wounds) may help to improve skin texture and appearance. Recently, PRP has garnered attention as a promising solution for one of the most challenging problems in dermatology: hair loss.

Platelets and hair growth: What’s the connection?

Platelets are one of four primary components of blood (the other three are red blood cells, white blood cells, and plasma). Platelets promote cell growth and regeneration. As the term “platelet-rich plasma” suggests, platelets are generally about five times more concentrated in PRP than in regular blood. This concentration of platelets is useful, because platelets secrete growth factors than are thought to assist in wound healing and tissue regrowth.

When it comes to hair loss, the theory is that platelets, injected deep into the scalp to reach the bottom of the hair follicle, may stimulate a specialized population of cells named dermal papilla cells, which play a critical role in hair growth.

Obtaining and injecting platelet-rich plasma

The process of obtaining PRP involves a blood draw and a centrifuge. To yield PRP, blood is drawn from your arm, then spun down in a centrifuge (a machine that spins at high speeds to help separate blood components). After centrifuging, the plasma rises to the top, and the lower part of the plasma is the PRP. Sometimes, a second spin is performed to increase the platelet concentration of the plasma.
Your own PRP is collected, then injected into multiple areas of hair loss across your scalp. The usual treatment plan involves three sessions, approximately one month apart, followed by maintenance sessions every three to six months to keep up the results.

Evidence for platelet-rich plasma is stronger for some types of hair loss than others

Most research on PRP for hair loss has focused on its use to treat androgenetic alopecia (AGA). Also known as hormone-related baldness, this is a condition that can affect both men and women. In men with AGA, hair loss typically occurs on the top and front of the head. In women, thinning occurs on the top and crown of the head and often begins with the center hair part growing wider. The evidence suggests that PRP may work best when it is combined with other treatments for AGA, such as topical minoxidil (Rogaine) or oral finasteride (Propecia), which is an anti-androgenic drug.

Is it safe?

PRP injections are considered safe when performed by a trained medical provider. Mild risks include pain, redness, headaches, and temporary hair shedding. PRP may not be appropriate for those with autoimmune-related disorders.
One of the best things about PRP therapy is that you can be in and out of our office in less than an hour. Because no downtime is required, you can get back to your regular activities immediately.

Based on our Skinsenss doctor’s evaluation of your hair and recommendations for treatment, you can use PRP therapy in conjunction with other hair restoration treatments or on its own. During your consultation, our doctors will provide the best treatment options for you.

Open Pores

Open pores?? Is it bothering you too.

Lately, we’ve been getting loads of queried from our patients about reducing pore size. Sure, pores play an important role in the appearance of your skin. But the truth is that pores tend to expand with age; it’s a natural process that everyone goes through.

And here’s the thing, it is simply impossible for your skin to function healthily without pores. Embracing the fact that everyone has pores and they are here to stay can help you to get the most out of your remarkable skin.

What are open pores?

Pores are home to hair follicles and where sebum (the oil that your skin produces) is made by “sebaceous glands.” Looking close enough, you can see the hair follicle pores with your naked eye, unlike sweat pores that are too small to see. Pores are always open to allow for the oil and hair follicle to surface, no matter whether you have oily skin dry skin. Everyone has these pores all over their body except on the soles of their feet and on the palms of their hands. The nose is a key area where most people notice enlarged or clogged pores. Those who have experienced acne or pimples on the face probably feel more conscious of this.

When the pores on your skin are tight, it can cause more light to be reflected thus appearing more youthful and healthy. The oil that your skin produces can become trapped inside your pores, oxidising and turning the skin darker. Different skin types, genetics as well as your age can have an impact on pore size but they are as important to your skin’s wellbeing as water, necessary for the health of each individual skin cell and your whole body.

What Happens to Pores As We Age?

Before we reach our 30s, our skin goes through a monthly process of shedding known as “desquamation.” All of the dead skin, debris and oil that are found on the surface become trapped inside the pores and your skin expands to fit all of this excess matter. During this period in your life, your pores stay relatively clear and clean due to the desquamation process.

While the process continues after your 30, it does slow down. This results in your pores taking on more excess material before clearing naturally. They can expand and appear much larger than they are.

What part does Collagen and Elastin play in this?

The elastin and collagen that support your pores diminish over time causing your pores to sag and stretch, making them seem larger. Collagen and elastin supplies can further be affected by excessive sun. This may be why many people first notice enlarged pores on their nose, which often takes the brunt of the sun’s rays.

What are the common misconceptions about open pores?

A leading misconception about open pores is that you can shrink or close them. The truth is that no amount of wishing can close or shrink pores. They need to be opened to allow your skin areas where sebum and other materials to leave the skin, keeping it healthy. The only thing that you can do is to reduce the appearance of enlarged pores by cleansing the debris, such as daily dirt or makeup that has been trapped inside of the open pore, making them less visible to the naked eye.

Another common misconception about pores on the skin is that you can use steam to open them. All that steaming does is help to loosen the debris trapped inside making it easier to clear. That being said, it is advised to use professional products as improper cleansing can lead to skin irritation. Less is more in this situation as harsher products can have an adverse effect on delicate skin. Pore size, as we have discussed, is determined by age, skin type and genetics.

Most of us have tried a wide variety of products in our search to find the best ‘pore minimiser,’ particularly those of us who have experienced acne. When it comes to skin care, it’s only natural to assume that the stronger a product is, the more likely it is to reduce the effect of large pores. There really is no need to go to the lengths of a harsh scrub. The wrong products won’t help to clear a clogged skin pore, they’re actually more likely to cause further issues, such as irritation and pimples.
With over decade of experience we vouch on chemical peels to exfoliate your skin deeply to reduce pore size.

Open pores and your beauty

Without open, functioning pores, your skin simply wouldn’t function as it should. Getting rid of the debris that blocks your pores is a key ingredient to healthy looking skin. By working with your pores instead of against them, discovering a radiant skin complexion is possible.

Whatever your skin ph, whether you have dry skin or oily skin, removing any makeup or dirt gently and carefully is a good start.

Which products would a skin doctor recommend for open pores?

• Cleansers

• Exfoliating agents

• Moisturiser

• In clinic Treatments

NEW HAIR GROWTH

Is growing back lost hair possible?

The follicles produce hair strands that develop in length before falling out. Once the old hair has fallen out, new hair will grow back in its place, and so on. The average person typically loses 100 hair strands daily, but some illnesses can result in significant hair loss. The correct hair loss treatments can promote the growth of new hair.

What is Hair Loss?

Your entire body or your scalp may experience hair loss, which may be either temporary or permanent. It could result from inherited traits, hormonal changes, illnesses, or a normal part of ageing. Men are more prone to lose hair on their heads than women.

Causes of Hair Loss

Hair loss happens when new hair does not replace the hair that has fallen out. An average person loses around 50–100 hair per day. Due to the simultaneous growth of new hair, this frequently goes unnoticed. Usually, these are the following factors that contribute to hair loss:

  1. Family History of Hair Loss (heredity)The inherited disorder that develops with ageing is the most typical cause of hair loss. It typically happens gradually and in regular patterns, with men experiencing a receding hairline and bald spots and women experiencing thinning hair at the top of the head. Androgenic alopecia, male-pattern baldness, and female-pattern baldness are the names for this disorder.
  2. Medical issues and hormonal shifts: Permanent or short-term hair loss can be caused by several circumstances, including hormonal changes brought on by pregnancy, childbirth, menopause, and thyroid issues. Alopecia areata, an immune system-related syndrome that results in patchy hair loss, ringworm infections of the scalp, and the hair-pulling disorder trichotillomania, are among the medical conditions.
  3. Drugs and dietary supplements: Some medications, including those for cancer, arthritis, depression, heart issues, gout, and high blood pressure, can cause hair loss as a side effect.
  4. A highly stressful occasion: Many people notice general hair thinning several months following a traumatic event, whether physical or emotional. Temporary hair loss results from this type.
  5. Hair treatments and styles: Excessive styling and tight-pulling hairstyles can result in traction alopecia, a type of hair loss. Permanent hair dye and hot oil treatments can make hair brittle and fall out. Scarring could cause hair loss to become permanent.

Signs of New Hair Growth

If you concentrate on an area of your scalp that has previously suffered hair loss or shedding, finding new hair growth is pretty simple. However, you can look for some specific signs to ensure Hair Growth:

  1. Dark Spots: Part your hair and examine the scalp and hairline for any dark areas in good lighting. A shadow is a common name for these dark areas. Don’t worry if you see them on your scalp. It’s time to jump for pleasure! These black areas show that your hair follicles are actively growing new hair.
  2. Fine and Short Hair Growth: Observe the baby hair strands that weren’t there before. Those are indications that the scalp is growing new hair. These baby hair strands will grow more quickly than usual if your scalp is healthy. That’s fantastic news, but you should know that baby hair is sensitive and prone to breaking.
  3. Fewer Split Ends: Congratulations if you notice fewer split ends in your hair than you did previously! It is a symptom of freshly growing hair. Only when your hair is healthy, and you take good care of it will your split ends decrease. If you can see a reduction in your split ends, whatever you have done for hair care works for you.
  4. Reduced Hair Loss and Breakage: Having dry, brittle, and unhealthy hair can lead to hair loss and breaking. Up to 100 hair strands falling out per day is normal, but excessive hair loss indicates weak hair. When normal shedding takes place, the hair strand and the hair root, which resembles a little white bulb, both shed. Therefore, if you have just begun experiencing decreased hair fall and breakage, it indicates that your hair is beginning to recover.
  5. Stronger Hair: Stronger hair both signals future growth and shows healthy hair growth. Growing hair strands become active throughout time, begin to increase volume, and lengthen. This latest hair growth is more robust. It’s obvious evidence that your hair can now begin to grow again.

How to Grow Hair Fast?

Your hair can grow faster with some care at home with hair growth tips and remedies like regular scalp massage. If that doesn’t work, consider consulting with a hair professional to understand hair regrowth treatment options. Multi-Vitamins

Hair Growth Vitamins: Should You Spend the Money?

Hair growth vitamins can seem like a cure-all. But are they worth the money?

If you’ve noticed your hair is thinner than before, you might be looking for hair growth products or vitamin supplements to help restore it. Vitamins for hair growth are designed to promote new hair growth and strength existing follicles. Social media influencers and celebrities say these products are cure-all hair treatments. But will they really reverse hair loss?

There is the truth behind supplementing vitamin deficiencies and hair health.

Do hair growth vitamins work?

The short answer is…a Yes and a No. A vitamin supplement’s ability to help hair health comes down to what is causing hair loss. If it’s because of medications you are on or medical conditions, vitamins for hair growth aren’t going to help. Some vitamin supplements for hair growth do help strengthen and restore hair shine, but typically only if your problem is a vitamin deficiency. They will not improve your hair growth if you do not have a vitamin deficiency.

Hair growth vitamins can also contribute to keeping hair healthy. Many of the nutrients in these supplements are related to hair growth (like biotin and vitamins A, C, and E). That doesn’t mean that taking these vitamins will make your hair grow back longer and thicker.

What vitamins are good for hair growth?

Unhealthy hair can present in several ways, though the most common characteristics are hair thinning, brittle and weak strands, dullness, and lack of growth. The best vitamins for hair growth are nutrients like biotin, vitamin C and vitamin E. There are many essential vitamins and minerals that play a role in hair health, including but not limited to:

• Biotin: Vitamin B7, or biotin, strengthens and maintains the protein structures that make up hair, skin and nails. Many people take this to help their hair grow faster and strengthen existing hair. Biotin is one of the most important vitamins for hair growth. But, taking more biotin than your body needs doesn’t amplify the benefits.

• Vitamin A: Vitamin A is essential for keeping your scalp moist and healthy. It also reduces hair breakage. However, you shouldn’t over-supplement vitamin A. Vitamin A is stored in the liver, where the dispersal is tightly controlled. Taking too many floods the transportation system and is associated with hair loss. You can find vitamin A in animal products and leafy greens.

• Vitamin C: Vitamin C has a few ways it helps maintain hair health. First, it’s an antioxidant that neutralizes free radical damage that can block hair growth. Vitamin C also aids collagen production and improves iron absorption. Strawberries, peppers and tomatoes are good sources of vitamin C.

• Vitamin D: Low levels of vitamin D have been associated with alopecia, among other conditions. Vitamin D also helps hair follicles regulate growth and shedding. Fatty fish, tuna and orange juice fortified with vitamin D can help you get your recommended dose.

• Vitamin E: Vitamin E is an antioxidant, like vitamin C, which helps prevent oxidative stress by free radicals. Vitamin E is found in avocados, spinach and almonds.

• Iron: An iron deficiency can contribute to hair loss, especially in women. Food sources with iron include meat, seafood, spinach, beans and nuts.

• Omega-3s: Omega-3s keep the cholesterol-derived layer of our skin cells healthy. Maintaining this layer of the skin promotes scalp circulation and prevents hair follicle inflammation. A 2015 study investigating hair loss and omega-3s found that of the participants taking omega-3 and omega-6 supplements, 90% reported less hair loss. Foods rich in omega-3s are fish and seafood.

• Zinc: Alopecia is also associated with a zinc deficiency. Zinc is essential for tissue growth and repair. Zinc cannot be naturally generated in the body and has to be supplemented through your diet. Meat, nuts and beans are excellent sources of zinc.

If you aren’t getting what you need from your diet, whether because of dietary limitations or medical conditions that impact the gastrointestinal tract, vitamin supplements can help fill the gap.

Should you buy hair growth vitamins?

The best vitamins for hair growth aren’t worth the money unless you have a vitamin deficiency. They aren’t a magic capsule key to commercial-ready hair, and they aren’t something you want to take too much of.

In some cases, changes in your lifestyle and diet can help more than vitamins can. Vitamins are supposed to be supplements to your diet, not a replacement. Diets low in calories, fat and protein can contribute to unhealthy hair and hair loss known as telogen effluvium. Don’t worry: Telogen effluvium hair loss is typically reversible once your diet is corrected.

Hair growth vitamins don’t really work for the average person. However, if your hair is brittle or weak due to age or a vitamin deficiency, vitamin supplements for hair growth may help bring some of that natural shine back.

But the most important question is which brand of multivitamin is good for me?
How long should I take it?
What if I take more than required?

Laser Hair Reduction

Laser Hair Reduction: Is it worth the hype?

What is Laser Hair Reduction?

Laser hair reduction is the best method of removal of unwanted hair.

Note: We call it ‘Reduction’ and not ‘Removal’ because technically laser will work on hair root retarding it’s growth permanently.

How does laser hair reduction work?

Hair removal lasers emit a light at a specific wavelength that is absorbed by the pigment (color) in the hair follicle-without damaging the surrounding skin. The light is converted to heat energy, which in turns destroys the hair follicle so that it will not produce another hair.

Laser technology targets dark pigment (melanin) in the skin. Therefore, it works best on dark coarse hair on a pale skin so darker coarser hairs on a light skin will show best results.

(For white/grey hair Lasers, this technique would not work)

What are the advantages of laser hair reduction?

It is pain free, hassle free, fast, gives long term reduction.
Best for ingrown hair.

Can anyone go for for Laser Hair Reduction?

Yes. Any one and any skin type can go for Laser hair removal. Laser does’nt work much for grey hairs.

What parts of the body can hairs can be Treated?

All parts. Hair removal is commonly done on underarm, pubic area, legs, abdomen, lip, Chin, back, buttocks, thighs, face, neck, Chest, arms, and toes.
Both Men and Women can opt for the same.

Why frequent sittings required?

Hair grows in cycles. Laser will only affect actively growing hair follicles and not dormant and resting hair follicles. Various hair will enter their growth cycle at different times. So 8-10 sessions/ treatments at intervals of 4 8weeks are necessary to destroy most of the follicles in a given area.

Hair type, skin type and hormonal problems like PCOD/PCOS have a major influence on how treatment progresses

Is Laser Hair Removal Permanent?

US FDA has approved the term laser hair Reduction than removal. They disable hair permanently as long as the right type of hair is treated with right type of laser at effective settings.

It is called “reduction” because, hair removal lasers cannot remove 100% of the hair in an area. With proper treatments, laser can remove the majority of the coarse hair on a body area, but they cannot remove finer hair. The coarse hairs become very fine with the treatments and less visible.

Are They any Laser Hair reduction Risks or Side Effects?

Very minimal. Rarely very few people may experience the following side effects: These are temporary.

• Itching, Redness for few hours

• Temporary pigment change (hypopigmentation or hyperpigmentation

What precautions to be taken Before and After a Laser Treatment?

Patients should not wax, tweeze/ bleach epilate, or remove hair with the root using any other hair removal method for at least 2-6 weeks(depending on their hair growth) prior to their session. The hair root needs to be in place in order to be targeted by laser. Shaving can be done in between the sittings if required.

The area to be treated should be shaved 1day before treatment. Better to avoid sun and use sun-screens following the procedure.

How much does laser hair reduction cost?

The cost of Laser hair reduction depends on the size of the area being treated, the time required for treatment and number of sessions.

Some might think it as costly affair. But considering the number of times you spend in salon and the money you spend to wax hair, it is the most cost effective method.
And at Skinsense we offer trial treatments to get the experience especially for most waxed areas like face, underarms and bikini.
Because we believe in conviction.

If you are a first timer and want to experience how this treatment can do wonders, you can opt for our trial sessions which can cost you less than a cup of coffee.

Vitamin K

Vitamin K??? Is it used it skincare?

In the world of skincare vitamins, you’ve probably heard of—and probably used or are currently using—vitamins A, C, and E. But if you work your way further down the alphabet, there’s another vitamin that may have some topical benefits, too. We’re talking about vitamin K, a vitamin that plays an important role in several different bodily functions. And while it’s typically thought of as a more systemic vitamin, there’s a good amount of topical products out there that tout it, too. So, does it perform as well on the skin as it does inside our bodies?

What is Vitamin K?

Just as its name suggests, vitamin K is a fat-soluble vitamin, which is found in food and synthesized in the large intestine. It plays an important role in many bodily functions, including blood clotting, blood calcium regulation, and bone health

Benefits of Vitamin K for Skin

• Have some antioxidant properties:  It has “Redox properties,” which is skin’s ability to detoxify reactive oxygen species that are formed when we’re exposed to UV rays and pollution.

• Helps fade under-eye circles: Most of the skincare products containing vitamin K are eye creams that claim to brighten the under-eye area. In theory, this should be due to the effects the vitamin has on the blood clotting process, and how it affects the blood that pools in the tiny vessels underneath the eye.

• Helps lessen the appearance of dark spots: Doctors often prescribe Vitamin K creams for patients who need help reducing swelling or bruising, so it stands to reason that the ingredient has been shown to reduce the appearance of dark spots.

• Improves the look of stretch marks: Because of its ability to increase elasticity, vitamin K can make a stretch mark prone area appear a bit lighter and brighter.

• Non-irritating: Vitamin K is non-irritating and safe for use with all skin types, even sensitive.

• Helps combat wrinkles: Vitamin K is beneficial in minimizing dark circles and wrinkles… when paired with retinol, as well as vitamins C and E.

FAQ

• Is vitamin K safe for sensitive skin?

As it has no known adverse side effects, vitamin K can be used on any skin type, including sensitive.

• What’s the best way to use vitamin K topically?
You can use vitamin K creams once or even twice daily (it’s a popular ingredient in eye creams so morning and night use is fine).

• What else can vitamin K cream be used for on the skin?

Due to its brightening effects, it’s most often seen in creams that target bruising or dark spots, including the sensitive under-eye area.

IRON

Iron and Hair Loss: Is there any relation?

We’re not all “Popeye,” eating cans of spinach each day to stay strong.

But making sure we have a healthy amount of iron in our diet is important. It can help prevent anemia and boost resistance to infection.

And when it comes to our hair, iron plays a vital role.

Iron is really important for hair growth and hair health.
When we see patients who are experiencing hair loss, we often recommend to perform lab test for iron (Hb)deficiency. It’s not uncommon for us to find iron to be low in women.

Can an iron deficiency cause hair loss?

Yes. Iron helps your body produce hemoglobin, a protein in your red blood cells. It carries oxygen to your body’s cells, helping them grow and repair. This includes your body’s cells that help with hair growth.

Many women are low in iron, and Hair shedding may be the first sign that patients notice.

Who’s at risk for iron-related hair loss?

• Women

Iron is especially vital for women of child-bearing age who have monthly periods and who may or may not get a lot of iron in their diet.

• People who follow a vegetarian/vegan diet

Those who are vegetarian or vegan may want to focus on including foods that are good sources of iron.

If you’re a vegetarian or vegan, you can eat beans, spinach and other dark leafy green vegetables as sources of Iron. However, plant-derived iron is not absorbed as completely.
Hence you must make sure your diet includes foods high in vitamin C, as they can help your body absorb iron completely.

People who exercise heavily

Heavy exercise like running or high-impact aerobic exercise can cause small tears in your joints or the lining of your stomach.

These small tears leak a little blood. Over time and with regular exercise, this can lead to loss of iron and eventually anemia.

Will hair loss from iron deficiency grow back?

Yes. Most hair loss due to an iron deficiency can be reversed.

If you’ve been experiencing hair loss and think it may be due to an iron deficiency, you can reach out to us or a doctor. A blood test can determine if you have low levels of iron.

Hence eating a healthy diet with adequate iron-rich foods or taking an iron supplement can correct the deficiency and lead to hair regrowth.

How to add more iron to your diet

Get more iron in your diet by adding supplements or changing your eating habits.

Supplements

Iron supplements commonly cause constipation, so slow-release supplements are preferred. It’s important to talk to your doctor first, before taking iron supplements, though.

Taking iron with vitamin C, as is found in citrus fruits or some combination supplements, increases the stomach’s absorption of iron.

Diet changes

Eating a well-balanced diet can help ensure you get the recommended amount of iron each day. Reach for iron-rich foods like spinach, broccoli, peas, tofu and iron-rich meats like beef and lamb.

You also want to incorporate foods that are high in vitamin C. Think oranges, strawberries and tomatoes.

“Vitamin C helps your body absorb the iron you consume in food or supplements,” says Dr. Piliang. “To get the most bang for your buck, eat vitamin C-rich foods with your iron-rich foods or supplement.”

Overall, if you notice more hair in your shower drain, it may be time to reach out to us.

What is hyaluronic acid?

All about water-rich powerhouse which should be part of your skincare regime.

What is hyaluronic acid?
Hyaluronic acid is a sugar molecule that occurs naturally in your skin. It delivers a sustained supply of water that’s needed to keep skin looking plump and smooth. It’s one example of a skin “acid” that doesn’t exfoliate (such as glycolic acid) that works by grabbing and holding up to 1,000 times its weight in water. This helps lock water to skin where you need it most for a dewy, smooth look and feel.
Hyaluronic acid is also an essential part of your skin’s natural moisturizing factor (NMF), which is responsible for the water-holding and absorbing powers of the

If it’s already in my skin, why do I need it?
Similar to collagen and elastin, hyaluronic acid is abundant in younger skin but starts to decrease as we age. As we get older, our bodies get more dehydrated, and that includes our skin. Fortunately, skin is very receptive to hyaluronic acid applied to the skin’s surface.

Is hyaluronic acid good for my skin type?
We at Skinsense and many other dermatologists prescribe hyaluronic acid because hydration is essential to the health of skin—regardless of the type and Hyaluronic acid is especially great for oily skin types because it’s lightweight and hydrates without making skin oilier.

Can it help with fine lines and wrinkles?
Yes! Hyaluronic acid for skin keeps skin moisturized, ultimately helping to reduce the look of fine lines and wrinkles that are often intensified by dryness.

Where can I find hyaluronic acid?
Hyaluronic acid’s ability to naturally plump skin has made it a popular injectable/wrinkle filler. But injections aren’t for everyone. Hence at Skinsense, we prescribe moisturizers and serums with next-generation hyaluronic filling sphere technologies for results that are comparable to injections.

What’s the best way to use it?
Using a hyaluronic acid serum or cream immediately after washing your face is the best way to introduce hyaluronic acid for the skin into your routine. You can even layer your hyaluronic acid serums and creams to intensify the benefits.

How can I boost hyaluronic acid in my skin?
Looking to take hydration a little deeper? In addition to nourishing your skin with hyaluronic acid serums and creams, certain supplements and food can help boost hyaluronic acid. Glucosamine as a supplement helps boost natural hyaluronic acid and collagen levels, helping to boost cellular hydration from the inside out. In addition to drinking enough water, remember to eat your water, too. Water-rich fruits like watermelon and spinach help the body hold more water and nutrients that help benefit the health of the skin.

What is Glutathione?

Want glowing skin? Take advantages of Glutathione’s benefits

What is Glutathione?

Glutathione is our body’s “Master Antioxidant” that not only makes our skin look healthy and glowing, but is also responsible for detoxification and maintaining a healthy immune function. Glutathione also encourages the production of Pheomelanin (the lighter reddish-yellow type of melanin) over Eumelanin (the darker brownish-black type of melanin), thereby resulting in the reduction of pigmentation as well as brightening and evening out of skin tone. However, the glutathione levels in our body decline with age, so in order to fully benefit from this ingredient’s anti-aging and skin-renewing properties, the consumption of oral supplements may be required.

What are the skin benefits of Glutathione?

Glutathione reduces oxidative stress in the body to improve your overall complexion. With glutathione treatments, you can see:

• Overall lighter, brighter skin tone

• Even skin tone with reduced dark spots

• Reduced blemishes

• Diminished acne scars

Glutathione is known for giving you a youthful glow and smooth, even skin.

How to consume?

Glutathione can be administered orally via tablets. IV injections are the most efficient and effective way to receive antioxidants. These iv injections only take a few minutes to administer. The instant boost of glutathione immediately goes to work brightening your skin and improving the skin’s texture.
Another way to get the best of this antioxidant is through a spray.

Why should I use glutathione over other skin lightening products?

Skin lightening lotions or creams can be dangerous to your skin and health. The chemicals present in these do-it-yourself products can yield uneven results and pose a real risk of damaging your skin. Glutathione is a naturally-occurring substance that works from the inside out to improve your skin’s texture and tone without subjecting it to harmful chemicals or other ingredients.
